A parent, either alone or with a partner is often responsible for everything wrong with their children. Blame for the perceived misdeeds of our children is probably one of the most difficult obstacles we have to take as parents.
The truth is that parents today are time poor and their children, are more powerful than ever shaped by many external sources. Most parents do their best with what they have. For most people, this knowledge of how it was created. But times have changed, what worked for their parents and for them, that children do not work now for their own families. Many people find that to what they learned from their own experience is based not sufficient.
With almost everything we do in life, we learn from our “mistake”. Some of our mistakes are easy to move, others can last a lifetime and cause untold suffering.
