In India, arranged marriages have always enjoyed the upper hand. Parents think it is the duty, as the best combination for their son or daughter looked through marriage or other sources to be found. Although the perception is changing slowly, and many young people are opting for love marriages, it is still to meet in small towns and communities. The outgoing youth of India today feels that they are mature enough to make such decisions alone. Moreover, they believe that spending the person they intend to continue their rest of their lives, they should be their choice. A look at the number of divorces and separations in urban India, the question of whether you score more love marriages, arranged marriages remain unanswered.
